Mission Statement
The Central Florida Breastfeeding and Parenting Center exists to provide education and support for families as they move forward in their parenting journey as well as to extend that education to professionals in our community seeking to provide an environment to help breastfeeding thrive.

Vision
The Central Florida Breastfeeding and Parenting Center exists to help you reach your breastfeeding and parenting goals with a more satisfactory experience. We are a not-for-profit corporation with a vision of increasing breastfeeding initiation and duration in our community.

Prenatal
Expectant parents are encouraged to visit the center for support group meetings, breastfeeding and parenting classes, or special needs assessment scheduled with a lactation consultant. A variety of classes are offered during both the day and evening to help accommodate your schedule.

New Families
Our center is open each weekday to facilitate support groups, offer  lactation counseling and consultations, and provide parent enrichment. IN ADDITION WE PROVIDE HOME VISITATION. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends infant feeding assessments within one week of birth to facilitate improved breastfeeding and prevent early weaning. The World Health Organization also recognizes a need for additional support and evaluation after the mother and baby leave the hospital. We also offer an assortment of pumps and other breastfeeding supplies for purchase should you need or desire them during your breastfeeding experience.

Health Professionals
In addition to parent education, our center provides interesting and informative professional education for our staff and other health professionals. If you work with prenatal and breastfeeding moms, contact us today to set up a professional breastfeeding presentation for your staff.
